The whole idea behind the conception of The X Garage is to offer “something for everyone”.  It doesn’t matter if your project is eXtreme, eXotic, or eXtravagant it is a reflection of ones personality and deserving of the same attention to detail.  We take Customer satisfaction and Product quality very seriously.  It is this attention to “the details” that we have built our reputation on.  What you see before you is the realization of a dream that started with a career in metal working over 25 years ago. 

Trying to condense a quarter century of “real-world” experience into a few paragraphs is impossible to say the least.  It all started with a four year stint in a Machine shop in 1981; then progressing into a 20 year run as a fabricator through several of the Automotive Prototype shops in the Detroit area.  Names like D.S.T., Roush, Carron & Co., as well as several lesser known shops provided an education in metal working that no money could ever buy.  I was fortunate to have been apprenticed by some of the most talented craftsman in this trade.

One of the most important benefits that this path in life has given me is a handful of hand-picked, “hired guns” that work as each job necessitates.  Paid only when needed, this allows me greater control over project selection, timing, and costs.  Some of these relationships go back 20 years or more and include Engineers, Fabricators, Painters, as well as Friends with one thing in common.  A specialist in their own field, with a genuine love for anything Automotive or Motorcycle inspired.
